This Privacy Policy explains how Yuvaasoft Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("Yuvaasoft," "we," "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data through GoFinicky SmartSchool. This policy is framed around India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), India's Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Amendment) Act, 2008, and, where applicable to users located in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
We use collected data solely to deliver announcements, special announcements, homework updates, fee reminders, leave request processing, feedback handling, and calendar updates between schools and parents. We do not use student or parent data for advertising and do not sell personal data to any third party.
We do not sell personal data. Data may be shared only with service providers supporting platform operation, such as cloud hosting, under contractual data protection obligations, or with law enforcement or regulators where legally required.
Data is stored on Indian cloud servers with daily automated backups.

Data is retained for as long as the school's account remains active, and for a reasonable period afterward for legal, audit, or accounting purposes.
Parents, students (through their parent or guardian), and school staff have the right to access their personal data, request correction of inaccurate data, request erasure subject to legal obligations, withdraw consent, and nominate another individual to exercise these rights in the event of death or incapacity.
EU-based data subjects additionally have the right to data portability, the right to restrict processing, the right to object to processing, protection against solely automated decision-making, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Because SmartSchool serves Day Care, Play School, Nursery, LKG, UKG, and Primary School level institutions, most data relates to young children. Processing of a child's personal data is carried out only with verifiable consent from the parent or lawful guardian, obtained through the school at enrollment onto the platform. We do not use children's data for tracking, behavioral profiling, or targeted advertising.
Reasonable security practices are maintained as required under Section 43A of the IT Act to protect sensitive personal data from negligent handling. Unauthorized disclosure of personal information in breach of a lawful contract is addressed under Section 72A of the IT Act.
